Wedding Cake Buried under Fish Survives Harsh Winter

Frozen with miscellaneous fish parts for one year, the top tier of this wedding cake surfaced today for its final hurrah in attempt to uphold the tradition of being consumed twelve months after the Big Day.

It actually looked better than anticipated.

And it cleaned up pretty well, given the circumstances. There were no traces of fish odor or any other foul aromas. It tasted fresh and delicious–not stale at all!

Ha! I think we were all surprised that it tasted so good! I’m so glad we could save it and eat it a year later. Thanks for sharing.
