Emergency Exit Button Still Functioning
Spotted at Eddie’s Cafe on Divisadero and Fulton.
The caption on the “stereo” jukebox reads: “If record is bad, push reject button at the back.” I wonder what their definition of “bad” is. The cafe is small and crammed but you are sure to get a unique coffee mug every time. I found it fittingly San Franciscan that they played former hits like “At the Car Wash” and “Billie Jean” and called the menu “Soul Food,” yet the place was entirely Asian-run.
